Traditional log cabins feature plenty of natural materials – and in particular, lots and lots of wood. However not everyone will wish to add wooden panelling to their entire bathroom, but by just adding panels to one wall you can still achieve a rustic look with a thoroughly contemporary twist.

Complement your wooden cladding with wooden bathroom furniture, like drawers, cupboards and a laundry basket in the same type and shade of wood.

Continue the comfortable cabin theme through your bathroom with thick, deep-pile bath mats and fluffy white towels. Why not also add a faux-bearskin rug or even wall hooks in the shape of antlers for a fun, forest-themed touch.
